The Alexander String Quartet

Date and Time: Saturday, June 7 2025, 7 PM. Approximately 80 minutes of music, with an intermission
Location: Congregational Church of South Hero, 24 South St, South Hero, VT 05486
Tickets: $25 online and at the door, $20 at local outlets.

The Alexander String Quartet stands among the world’s premier ensembles, having performed in the major music capitals of five continents. The quartet has performed at Lincoln Center, the 92nd Street Y, the Metropolitan Museum, Jordan Hall, the Library of Congress, and appeared as guests at universities including Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Lewis & Clark, UCLA, St. Lawrence, and many more. Numerous overseas tours include the U.K., the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, France, Greece, the Republic of Georgia, Argentina, Panamá, and the Philippines. The quartet’s extensive recordings have won international critical acclaim. 

This amazing ensemble will appear in South Hero on June 7, in a program to be announced. To see an ensemble such as this up close––to see the sweat on their brows––is truly amazing. It is SO unlike the experience in a big concert hall.  Not to be missed!   https://asq4.com/

Counterpoint Vocal Ensemble

The Ken Clark Organ Trio has been performing around New England, the eastern U.S. and internationally for 15 years. This is their first appearance at the Island Arts Summer Festival.
