Join Kim and Bob this year in exploring ways to create durable happiness in your life.

In the first session Bob will share the Japanese concept of IKIGAI, a term that means “That which gives your life worth, meaning, or purpose.”  He will share the four simple and practical steps to clarifying your own IKIGAI; and also how it guided him in finding his life’s purpose in retirement.

In session two, Kim and Bob will share practical and simple tools that can be integrated into daily life as one navigates moments/times of stress and challenge. The tools address positive mindset, moving emotional energy, calming the nervous system, and centering yourself. The tools are simple and take only minutes to utilize. This class will be experiential and fun.

Kim is a native of Vermont and returns each summer to North Hero with her husband Bob.  She is a 500 hr certified Kundalini Yoga and meditation teacher and a certified Yin Yoga teacher. Her mission is to share the tools of yoga wherever she goes because the practice of yoga (particularly Kundalini Yoga) has had such a positive influence on her life. Prior to retirement Kim taught elementary school for 34 years.

Bob loves fishing and playing pickleball in North Hero in the summertime.  He is a certified Yin Yoga and meditation teacher and has experienced the benefits they offer to his aging and athletic body; and for quieting his busy mind. Bob is also an Interventionist and Recovery Coach and has been sober for 31 years. He has made it his mission in retirement to share the benefits of yoga, meditation, and sobriety wherever he goes. Prior to retirement Bob worked for 35 years in the business world.
