On a cool March day with the wind blowing and clouds threatening rain, William Alexander took the following photos of the charmingly restored Homer Knight Barn in North Hero. It is the vision of Island Arts to “learn, teach, create and celebrate” within this historical Vermont structure. Though the cows and hay have long since gone, the memories of Vermont days gone by resonate within the rafters of this awe inspiring place.
With many farms disappearing around Vermont, the people of the Champlain Islands are fortunate to drive by the Homer Knight Barn and admire it’s simple beauty and architecture.
